أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ وَوَالِدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
Having told us Humaid bin Mas'adah, he said; has told us Bisyr Ibn Al Mufadhdhal, he said; has told us the Sūbah of Qatadah that he heard Anas say; "The Messenger of Allaah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said:" It is not perfect of one of you faith that I love him more than his son, his master and all mankind. "
